Slow indeed, but it's nice to see you're all still here on and off. Used to just be able to hop in here for amusement if the rest of the internet failed to entertain (or I just wore it out). I miss those days...

Yeah, I've seen this around once or twice, but it always cracks me up. Makes me feel good about myself, too... I wonder how many people we can find who actually have verifiably done stuff like this?

Seconded, I hate hospitals and I'd feel sympathetic for you just for having to be in one for any length of time, but to have that sort of surgery going on... yeah. In my nightmares. The worst I've ever had is some stitches for being hit across the face with a plastic road-barrier.

No, I just wanted to be as far away from moving traffic as [possible while I practised, and also learningn on lumpety-bumpety, uneven, slidy surfaces should mean that when I do get on the road I'll basically laugh at it and make it my bitch. Excellent! I'm hoping to keep this thread recent to attract the attention of any others that might wander past, I suppose this might well turn into a nostalgia thread of sorts.

So, anybody else you remember seeing around recently? There must be a number of other folks that lurk from time to time.

GGC forum is where I cut my virtual teeth, so to speak. Never could a fledgling Netizen ask for a more open, honest and friendly place to get acquainted with the whackiness of the 'nets.
