I do my comic in pencil, and I get it to look sharp enough for my tastes with this handy little method (it works for ink, too. Just in case you do it by hand) To keep my comic from looking too pencilly (and to get rid of the paper texture from the scan, as well as my bad erasing job), I do use the L...

Most people find that adding pixel-perfect frames in their graphics application of choice is the easiest way to do it, because it means you get to move around and resize your panels at will. It also looks a bit nicer. In a published comic either way would be fine, but on a computer screen hand-drawn...

I think the main issue is that the Internet, TV, and newspapers are somewhat dynamic media, so the writing is dumbed down for fast absorption. So when people come along with a block of big text, people don't want to read it. This is why forums are filled with "grammer nazis", who will pester you to ...

Lots o' Links Not only will I never click on these links, but I think I just found someone that has much more time in his hands than Pockybot and Rodrigo combined. First off, I could only wish. Second off, they're left as links because most people are probably better people for not seeing them. Thi...

Since I've been posting in forums since the year 2000 and have been the fickle person I am, I've had a kajillion sidepics over the years. Yes, I still call it sidepic because I started out posting on EZBored, where the term 'avatar' was unheard of. Some might seem outlandishly large, but that's beca...

Speaking as a religious fundamentalist, I'd say that "over 18" is an arbitrary legal construct rather than a religious one. One that lots of people under 18 ignore, too. If you label the ones that are not work safe as such, just about everybody will know what you mean and be able to choose for him o...

Explain how even Native Americans got the flood stories, then, and why Gilgamesh's flood story is different from the one told in the Torah. "Utnapishtim" does not sound like "Noah". Noah didn't live forever after the flood. The "flood myths" from around the world all involve catastrophic floods, but...

Most common definitions I've seen are: Any graphic blitted (i.e. block transferred) directly onto the screen. A fairy A lemon-lime flavored drink manafactured by Coca-cola operation. Disagreeable is placed under the same entry for complain in the thesaurus, the only real difference is that complaini...

Mozilla is somewhat of a spin-off of Netscape. However, it is a different animal under the hood.... Netscape has always been "Mozilla". But now so is Internet Explorer and many other browsers whether they share any relation or not. The browsers labelled "Mozilla", however, use an engine called "Geck...

The fact is, yes, it says that Witchcraft, Murder (innocent killing), etc. are really bad. but playing a game is not weilding any forms of evil unless you 'believe in it' so-to-speak. I've delt with this alot in the past two years and I've realized alot. Bingo. But if you're doing it in your mind, ...

You missed something in that article. Jack Chick wrote that, I promise! Uh... when did I imply that he didn't? Let's see here: You're absoultely right, I missed that article ... it's a riot. Most of Jack Chick 's teachings, including this one (the immediate antecedent for "this" being the article) ...
