Re: How 'bout them Tablet PCs?
I agree with the others, the Cintiq is the way to go if you have the cash and are happy with your computer/laptop. Yet, if you need a laptop, and like to draw on the go, then go for a tabletpc. It's great if you need to take notes during lecture time. Here's some info on tabletpcs http://forum.table...

The plastic overlay on my tablet is worn down that it's starting to have holes. Luckily, Wacom sells them on their website (as well as pens, nibs, and mouse replacements): http://direct.wacom.com/stores/5/Graphire_C64.cfm I tend to get the segmented line thingy more when I use Photoshop or GIMP when...

Bob Ross is awesome, I don't care what people say! Damn straight! I always loved it when he'd do something and you were thinking "No! Bob! Don't do it! It will ruin the picture!", only to realize a few minutes later that it made the picture better. Hehe, I felt the same way. His "happy little mista...

A majority of people at deviantart were doing this Art meme thing. I decided to follow the masses and do one myself.

Photoshop (the full version) is helluva expensive (~$600 regular price or $200-300 with a student discount). PS is mainly used by graphics designers/photographers. So, unless you are going into (or already in) the field, it's not worth the extra $$$. Not bashing the program, it's pretty much the bes...

I'm guessing (according to the code you posted) the reason why some of your images are not coming up because the image location link is wrong. ie: <img style="border: 0px solid ; width: 200px; height: 50px;" alt="" title="Complete month by month archive of The Unexpected" src="../Desktop/comicgenesi...

Once I'm hooked on a comic, I tend to look for some sort of feedback thing (forums, shoutbox, guestbook) to show the love. Actually, forums are great because you can discuss with other readers their thoughts about the comic. The next thing I like to look for is some sort of blog/news area. It's nice...

I'm pretty stumped, as well. Check the following permissions (these are what I have): subdirectories: cgi-bin = 755 comics = 755 files: daily and indextemplate.html = 644 If it's not that then it could be the placement of your cgi file or your home path (or perl path) could be different. Some hosts ...

Hm. I've actually installed autokeenlite, but when I try to run the script (I got the permissions changed fine) it says that it can't find the /comics/ folder. Yes, it's spelled right, yes it's accessing the right home folder, it just- won't open comics, and then it clusterf*cks. Uhm... help? I thi...

c.w might be right. Try changing the permissions in your websites control pannel instead of the ftp prog. That might work, if not check if you have a window server (or if you can run perl cgi scripts). All that info would probably be found in your webhost control pannel (ie Server info or something ...

Re: New website...I need some opinions.
Here's my photochoped version: http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a200/WyldCherry/070627.jpg I love your image pic (awsome coloring skillz), but it was too big. I'd put it off to the side right near the Comic link. That way it will draw your readers directly to that area. I also put in the title to f...
