Go ahead, call it a comeback
With the arrival of my spiffy new tablet PC, I'm working on reviving this thing. Being able to draw directly into the computer will greatly reduce the amount of time required to do the comic, so I'll be better able to keep it up. This is, of course, assuming that I can still remember how to work the...

Yeah. Also, how many other folks are gonna be there Sunday the 10th as well? If I'm driving 4 hours, I'm getting more than one day in! I'm planning on using Hotwire to find a hotel around mid-June or so (assuming the sky doesn't fall and I can go), so anyone (of the female persuasion) looking for a ...

So I finally got some printed. I printed them myself (to the tune of close to $30 in ink for 20 copies plus screw-ups). I tried to get Staples to do the fold and staple (so I wouldn't have to buy the long-arm stapler), but they needed 4.5 hours to do it. I bought the stapler and did it in half an ho...

I think the biggest part of what bugs me about the Chinese protests over Japanese school books is the whole Pot vs. Kettle issue. The Chinese really don't have much right to complain about other people's revisionist history when their own is so horrible. I worked with someone for several years whose...

My sister had her first son by emergency C-section and the second naturally. She's all in favor of the "Don't Cut Me Open" option. Something about not having to hobble around with an incision while trying to take care of a newborn. She was really funny when she was coming out of the anesthesia, thou...

I finally have something for the strings thread! April was my best month ever (advertising on thewebcomiclist.com=very good way to spend $10). Evidently another way to get hits is to redo your links page to have little blurbs about the comics you like. Then you get hits like this: onebrapt 1 br apt ...

I just had the best month ever. 1254 visits, according to the Webalizer page. Evidently the key is to pay $10 a month for one of the little square ads on thewebcomicslist.com. I did that from mid-March to mid-April and then renewed for another month. Big time visits off of that. Well worth the money...

I'll have to write up a real one, but until then, there's this. This one gave rise to what I hope to turn into a T-shirt (the trial one I got from Cafepress got really good reactions. Unfortunately, Cafepress quality is still asstastic).

Well, my kicking at my newsbox seems to have paid off. I finally got a hit off the thing. I basically had to reset all my banners and then remake the newsbox. The interesting part is whose comic they came from: 27 Apr, Wed, 01:35:10 http://guide.keenspace.com/newshack.php?out=ghastly Basically, some...

Attention: I am currently wacked out on caffeine (which I normally don't drink) and kinda loopy. But I just wrote 4 scripts and plotted out more. Yay Kirin milk tea!
That is all.
