Re: Redo the Old Ones?

I'm on the fence on this issue. On one hand, the art and some of the writing kept me from getting into Lightbringer for a long time, which I regret. (Which was pretty hypocritical of me; my early stuff is real bad). On the other, as many have mentioned, your key focus should be on new comics, and re...

"Next Day" Button Doesn't Work [Fixed]

Hello. I'm at hazardswake.comicgen.com My "Next Day" button seems to have stopped working, but only (as far as I can tell) on the first page. http://hazardswake.comicgenesis.com/d/20040301.html It seems to want to literally go to "http://d/20040329.html" instead of "http://hazardswake.comicgenesis.c...

Re: Thread of questions

Who is the winged Minion of Malbez who appears in #35 and #97 and #102 ? He is a member of a small group of organic constructs called Mirus. Dr. Ordateal made them to serve as Malbez's lowest-level minions after he got tired of having to use other humans for menial tasks. They all look identical an...

Re: Thread of questions

How many more shirtless guys are we gonna get to see in this comic? This will be on a "as I draw it" basis, so I can't give you a number. But there will be more. Are some of the characters harder to draw then others? In particular, is Solaria hard to draw? I noticed while making avatars that she's ...

Re: Thread of questions

mill-EEN. Ohno, I've been pronouncing it wrong! Sorry, Mil'. [hugs Milliene] Well, I don't know if I feel that there's actually a right or wrong way to pronounce it. And it's confusing seeing as I spell it "Milliene" which has a bunch of extra letters in there. Well, Exor evidently has storage ETHE...

Re: Thread of questions

How do you pronounce Milliene? Two syllables or three? In case anybody reads IPA: [mɪ.lij'ɛn]? [mɪ'lijn]? mill-EEN. [*Where do all the characters keep their tents and spare clothes and other stuff? Is this related to how Solaria pulls knives out of nowhere? Well, this one is tricky. Originally, I c...

Re: COMIC: The Adventures of Kanira Baxter

Finally, I've got to say, in terms of art you have been given a whole bunch of suggestions that don't involve making the eyes less prominent. Try some. Put more space between the eyes, increase the width of the head as seen from the front, maybe fine-tune the shape of the eyes to get more expressio...

Re: COMIC: The Adventures of Kanira Baxter

Indeed, but there was always something going on that was interesting, in both Trek and Wars: interesting characters. You've mentioned Captain Kirk, Jean-Luc Picard, Malcom Reynolds... They all have great personalities, quirks and dialog that pulls you in. I don't see that here. I'm very much a Char...

Re: COMIC: The Adventures of Kanira Baxter

I think, perhaps, there'z a slight difference of expectations here. Let me see if I can explain... Owning it on DVD, I watched the deleted scenes from Pulp Fiction a while back. There'z this scene where Mia Wallace is interviewing Vincent Vega with a video camera before they leave for Jack Rabbit S...

Re: COMIC: The Adventures of Kanira Baxter

While I want to respond to your latest post about art, BionicDance, it seems like it'd be polite to give you what you want first, so here are my thoughts on your story. Your pacing and dialog in the hijackers storyline is very nice. Things move quickly and you keep the action coming. The gunfight at...
