I think it'd okay to go on hiatus as long as you intend to eventually come back. Periodically leave updates that say more than, "Oh, um, maybe in another week or two," like "Can't update now because blahblah, but I'm thinking when I have a month off from class I can..." and talk of future plans for ...

But doesn't that stuff make pencil easy to smear?

When drawing, if I erase too hard or fast and the paper crinkles. That happens too often.

Or acidentally clicking "do not save changes" after I've worked on PSP. That really gets my panties in a bundle.

A spray can of Sneaker Cleaner, foam ear plugs, and a dradle from my dad.

I draw on binder paper because sketching on lineless paper irritates me, for some strange reason. Then I use a lightbox to trace the drawing onto printer paper.

Cheap, but it takes more time than necessary.
