Am I the only one who thinks they're not going to be deterred for so long as Pierce is suggesting? (Alex sure seems to be recovering quite frankly from the initial shock that, it seems, was due to his BF's dad's frankness. Possibly. I certainly have quite a different perception. Thinking about this...

Thank you, DetailBear. Indeed. And might I (as the other "adult" queer-gentleman here) add that gay men do like having their chest & torso played with, beyond just nipples. The chest ... sides of the torso ... the lower back ... all of these can be quite (ahem) fun . Calling men unfortunate ...

That ship may not have sailed per se but it sure as hell is pulling up the anchor and getting all the masts lined up. It has been my observation that your supposition of athletes' positions is more often precision than in opposition. : : To quote Dead Like Me: "Which one of you is, you know, the ma...

I never said I didn't like Alex, I was just wondering where the animosity came from in this case. What do you mean, in this case ? To quote a Christine Lavin song, "You thought I didn't have a Temper. Ha Ha. Ha Ha Ha. Ha Ha Ha. Surprise." Alex has a temper . (And Allan isn't exaggerating Alex' temp...

I: These people are more real to me than they probably should be. Not at all. As a Creator, as an Author, your characters are, well, "in your head." They are a part of you. And, at times, a reflection of actual parts of you, some you like, some you don't. And in still other cases, the characters be...

*the ringwolf walks up to candide and ...gets his hands genlty but firmly removed from candide's person. My last post is obviously solely and entirely my own perceptions. I didn't think that needed stating. But, here we are. Clearly, I rather miffed, but chose to vent my bile in generalities rather...

(And --- Yes, there are other factors involved in Allan's decision, not just emotional weariness and artistic whiplash. I'm not addressing those. I'm here to be a Necessary Blunt Instrument.) There are two things I have to point out here: Allan is hardly Mr. Ego. If anything, he seems (to me) to err...

If these reserachers (wholly unjustified) assumptions are correct, than this field is much, much larger than previously thought. ...aaaand yet, it's still a very, very tiny change overall. P.S.: As I stated in my explanation, "flipping" the field over doesn't change the sign of the mass anomaly. Th...

The point of the article is that, if these guys are actually right, this is a DOCUMENTED INTERACTION between Gravity and Electromagnetics. :leSigh: Sorry, Allan, but no. It's not. There is no interaction between the gravitational and electromagnetic forces in this experiment. The two are completely...

I reread. Nope. They are indeed assuming that their anomalous term must be due to a gravitomagnetic effect, rather than demonstrating that the anomalous term in the measurements couldn't be due to something else.

Re: Wait-- I'm RIGHT?!?

http://www.esa.int/SPECIALS/GSP/SEM0L6OVGJE_0.html :o QM + Gravity actually DOES equal impossibly high gravitomagnetic fields?!?!? Well ... maybe . I went a bit further, downloaded a copy of their paper. Let's just take as fact that they've done all of their measurements correctly, and that they ar...

Another excellent one, Allan! Pierce's standard look of "Eeeep!" in the (UJ meaning of the word) complements Alex' increasing look of confusion & strain & fatigue. To Pierce, this is just another instance of his Very Strange Life throwing him another curveball, and he reacts as we've seen him react ...

When I opened up UH2 this morning (at 5:30am, thankyouverymuch), I had one reaction: ZOMG! This is so awesome! The drawing is excellent, the punchline ("... never so turned on ...") hillarious. Actually, there has been a lot of hype about the Aneros . I meant "neoconservative" in the "Project for the New American Century" sense, which is about fascism and military dominance. I'm using the term facism accurately: the combination of government and corporations. Correct on both counts: definition of fascism and the nature of the PNAC. but a LOT of ...
