My biggest spike was when someone posted a Gnomes! strip on Fark. I got about twenty thousand hits in one day. After that, I've petered off, though my reader base is slowly but steadily growing. I'm around 50-60 uniques a day.

I would like to enter the thread just to say that lens flares are satan's invention. For me, they detract from the "reality" of a comic/drawing far more than they add to it; the feeling that I'm looking at [whatever the drawing is] through a lens instead of with bare eyes just adds a layer of sepera...

Where do I stand if the two comics I actually draw which updated once a week each no longer update, but the comic I do five times a week which takes nearly no effort at all is still going?

Also, did that last sentence make any sense at all?

Cool Edit is a fine piece of software, but if you haven't got a friend who'll give it to you, Audacity is also a fine audio edit/converting tool.
