SiteAdmin stats not updated since Feb 09. [Solved]

My comic hasn't updated in over a year until very recently, but my stats haven't updated since Feb 24, 2009. I couldn't find information on when the stats updated (if it was based on comic updates) so I don't know if this is correct behavior or something that's broken in siteadmin. I do have my own ...

Re: Coder People?

MySQL is dead easy as far as databases go. It's just starting to get things like stored procedures, though. There's a lot of things it just can't do. You might try PostgreSQL as a more mature alternative, but SQL is such a fragmented, you'll have to relearn a lot of it. The languages used for stored...

Re: Distributing your print comic - how to do?

I had an initial run of good luck selling comics at the local comic store. However, the second run met with much less success. The 10 or so people (most of whom I knew) who bought the comics already had their copies on the second run. I didn't have anything new to print so the second run sat on the ...

Re: Free poll scripts?

Dreamhost allows PHP and gives you access to MySQL. There are dozens of freeware polling scripts you could install. Unfortunately I haven't looked into polling scripts very much so I can't recommend any.

This most fanservice I've put into FAUB is in the current storyline. You don't know how much flak I've gotten over drawing Sandy naked. I have gotten a thank you from one of my readers, though. :D

The common method is to use a service that does it all for you, ala CafePress . But CafePress' quality is/was/maybe still is questionable. You can go your own route and learn to print comics yourself, screen print shirts and paint mugs. The trade off is your time versus the quality of the product. Y...

I loooove paper! I do original art oldschool doublesize w/pencil on artboard. Ink on paper, then scan, color, letter. How do you scan in the 11x17 inch artboards unless you have one of those $2500 11x17 inch scanners? (I looked them up on newegg.com and cried.) Do you go to a copy shop and reduce th...

Yes, exactly. Try this. Stand in a room and look straight ahead. The point on the wall you're looking at is where the vanishing point for that wall is. Look to your left and right. The point where you're looking is the vanishing point for those two walls. Directly above is the vanishing point for th...
