Dropping by the forum for the first time in a while because I found something Allan (and hopefully some of the rest of y'all) might be interested in, if you haven't already seen it. Check this out and see how many pages it takes you to figure out why the style seems so very familiar... :D

And so Alfy was just saying that even if he were on top, Alex could probably manage not to crush Pierce while... Er, wait. The whole point of th...

Just sayin'.

Okay, so. You know how I was going to hold off on getting Making Comics so I could ask for it for my birthday? Well, I broke down and bought it yesterday, because I have no self-restraint. And then I went home and read it in one sitting, because, again, I have no self-restraint. Yeah. And I really r...

AR Gurney wrote a play called "The Dining Room" that traces over many years the history of a single room and the people who move through it... It seems quite suited to being adapted to this sort of format.

Just an idea...

Erf. I'd kinda forgotten about this thread. Sorry to keep you hanging. First, if you'd excuse a brief fanboy moment... (I figure I'm asking the right person here.) SCOTT. FREAKING. MCCLOUD. OMIGOD. I really enjoyed the talk as a whole (you can find the audio recording here , by the way). Not having ...

The first line has five The second contains seven Then five more follows Unfortunately, Allan, the one you like is a 6-6-4 and not a 5-7-5 haiku. Reminds me of a self-referential double dactyl I came across once... Long-short-short, long-short-short Dactyls in dimeter, Verse form with choriambs (Ma...

Oh, and by the way, I just got done watching Scott McCloud give a guest lecture. Yeah. I think I'm still kind of in shock. Details to follow once I've had a chance to compose myself.
