Re: Doodles 12: Just like clockwork.
Well, unless you're drastically switching genres, I'd say it looks a little too blood drippy. Would make a decent logo for a comic about bugs that eat your skin though. LOL! Damn! I was trying to go for the "graffiti-on-the-wall" effect, but I guess I was too heavy on the paint. What about if I cle...

Re: I'll review your webcomic.
The worst part of having friends, I've found, is that even when they tell you the truth, it's heavily biased with a sense that they want you to continue to like them. I can honestly say i'm not disappointed in this review at all, but neither is it entirely what I expected (and that's a very good thi...

In that case you probably would've loved MS paint version too. Heck, I used to drink Tom & Jerry chocolate milk all the time just because it had Tom & Jerry on the carton! Though I would probably get bored of it if I watched it today. Watching chocolate milk definitely loses some of it's appeal whe...

Re: What if I don't pay the internets?
Basically, it works the same as renting a flat -- if you don't pay, they'll clear out your stuff and make it available to the next tennant. Fortunately for you, it's unlikely that you'll have any problem reregistering it in the future, but you'll want to back-up your files on your own hard drive -- ...

Re: Doodles 12: Just like clockwork.
I haven't done an Illustration Friday entry in quite a while, and I really missed doing them. So I did one. This week the topic was "Freeze." http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v727/IVStudios/Illustration%20Friday/Freeze.png Sucks to be that guy -- though I'm glad he managed to avoid the usual probl...

Cause sometimes you just need to draw a Studebaker in sepia tones.

Re: How does this webcomic thing work, again?
With a gag comic it's easy enough to have more regular updates (say 3 times a week) but with a story-based comic it might be more difficult, with an ongoing story there's the need for a hook at the end of each page (at least during an ongoing scene) so I can see why as a creator the idea of batch u...

Re: I'll review your webcomic.
Ideally, I'd like to see an increase in the number of competent reviewers, as quality reviews legitimately recognize artistic accomplishments, encourage the perception of webcomics as a serious endeavor, provide creators with useful feedback, and help instruct novice creators. ...Says our resident ...

The blue also doesn't seem to have the deffinition that the maroon does, of course that could just be an after-effect of the colouring. I have to say that the the blue cape may bring you back to the same problem you had with the purple -- because of the transitional hue of the bodysuit, this is just...

Re: How does this webcomic thing work, again?
How many pages would you guys reckon makes a good buffer when starting to actually post pages online? In my previous comics I never had buffers to start with really, or only a few pages. It didn't work out very well. How do you stay focused and motivated even when you have no or hardly any readers ...

Excellent, and well deserved! And don't worry, none of us have any intentions at all of cutting open your skull with an oversized spatula and eating your brain in the vague hopes of absorbing your talents for our own personal gains. None at all.Komiyan wrote:Pretty happy right now!
