How about Kurt Vonnegut's visions of the afterlife in God Bless You, Mr. Rosewater or Slapstick! or: Lonesome No More ? Basically, a big boring place with nothing to do. You can either be bored forever, or be reborn on Earth as a totally different person who will more than likely experience mostly p...

Disney for a long time seemed to be refusing to acknowledge even the existence of Oliver and Company, like they do with Song of the South, but for no apparent reason. I still haven't figured out why they had relegated it to their historical dustbin for so many years. Interesting issue. If Oliver wa...

I actually liked Oliver & Company. And All Dogs Go to Heaven. But I think ADgtH was done by Don Bluth, not Disney. I thought Oliver & Company was also done by Don Bluth, but I'm not sure. At any rate I thought they were cute. I like a lot of Don Bluth's stuff, much better than Disney. "Oliver" inde...

Same problem here. Looks like you guys fixed my small buttons and ONE of my medium banners, but the other medium banner is busted, as is, as you can see, my forum avatar. The guide images for these two items are simply an image that says "Copyright violation" (what??). Attempting to visit the source...

"Getting" fed up with Megatokyo?? Well, the basic image is that of a sad, beautiful, probably underage girl with enormous eyes in a melencholy snowscape. It happens now and again in anime and manga, Megatokyo's just got a reputation for it. The difference is, there's never anything "beautiful" about...

That name you got might be a stage name she uses (David Lucas AKA Steven Blum has half a dozen different stage names, as do a lot of other voice actors in that industry).

The most positive surprise for me, concert-wise is Chumba Wamba. For a group with reputation of one-hit-wonder whose one his is pretty old anyway, they were great. They have a kind of songs that get into your ears after halfa minute and you can fully injoy them although you never heard them before....

The latest KMFDM album was pretty metal-based. I thought it was better than their last few albums were. Then again, they have 20 years of experience and have hit just about every subgenre you could possibly connect to industrial rock in that time. Most of these nu metal bands that just came around h...

I don't like Linkin Park because too many of their songs use identical riffs or sound too much like each other. I think the few purely-insturmental music they've done has been vastly better than all their other material with lyrics (some of their insturmental-only music actually sounds pretty cuttin...

Cowboy Bebop has some of the best voice acting I've heard. Yes. Yes it does. It was like the only time ever that the English dubs were better than the original Japanese voices (especially Ed.) FLCL was pretty good too, come to think of it (was it me, or was there only 1 girl voice actress?!). FLCL'...
