Re: My house, my rules. (RHJunior no longer mod)

Congrats, RHJ, you offically abused your power. You claim to "own" this forum. Sorry, you rent it like you rent an apartment; you get to pay to repair any damage that I see, and you really screwed it up this time. And with this post, you've very nicely demonstrated what a true abuse of power really...

Do you believe christ was the son of god, that he died for our sins, and that only through belief in him can we find salvation? If yes, you are a Christian. Peroid. Any qualifiers after that just clarify which sect of christianity your a part of. We were discussing ideal vs. moderate followers, and...

Here's exactly the problem I'm talking about -- the newspapers are not the problem. People blowing up people, slitting their bellies open and pulling their intestines out, sawing off their heads, setting them on fire and burning them alive, crucifying little children -- This is the problem. The peo...

To me, the biggest issue with religion in the world... and even in this thread... is that somehow being a moderate follower of your faith is considered superior to striving to perfect it. Instead of comparing moderate followers, why not compare the ideal? Granted, you'll never find someone who comp...

Toy Cranes

I thought about posting this back when it ran, but I was getting ready for a flight overseas. Forgot all about it until just now. In reference to this strip, there seem to be two kinds of toy cranes: Fair and unfair. The difference is that the ...

Re: The artifice master is WRONG.

"Programming" is a bad term, since that would seem to be the combination of runes on it. There's only 44 commands on it, and some of those probably relate to the stupid advertising thing. It could be a lower-level programming, if you will: Something inherent in the sword or runes itself... But anywa...

Yup. Took me a while to find, too. :)

(Not sure "crossover" is the right word, though.)

Re: Well... so much for that!

So much for having a powerful weapon to control. It sounds like he won't be able to control it at all beyond pointing it in the right direction and hoping the sword picks an appropriate power. Nothing worse than battling beasties and having a sword spit out bubbles instead of lighting or somesuch! ...

(Some of these other posts in this thread are enough that I probably won't bother coming back to the forum, though.)

We actually had to not only share the same room, but there was only one bed in there. Sleep on the couch? No, actually... the couch had someone else in it. And the final wedding paperwork needed about two and a half weeks to clear. Oddly, I got used to it after four or five days. Which just goes to ...

From personal experience: Chastity does not require two bedrooms. But you get a lot more sleep if you have them.

Re: Footpaw prints?

It's okay, RH, I'll answer it for him: ...question is, do I *want* to know what does shoe size have to do with *anything*? No, you really don't. ...what? I said I'd answer the question. Oh, fine. It goes to the idea that the "extras" on the human body are directly proportional in size: Nose, feet, h...

Re: Good idea.

Ralph, your sense of humor is sublime. I get more laughs from your strips than Garfield. I recently read the Garfield archives looking for a good laugh. The few times it managed to get a smile out of me, it was in the second from last frame -- Odie or Jon. Then Garfield swooped in and killed the jo...

Ralph, I really like the character you've written for Quentyn. He puts up with a bunch of people saying he's worthless, then he finds something they didn't - and he treats them with respect. Several people I know in real life would be acting pretty obnoxiously, an "I found what you were too stupid ...

Re: Shoving Religion--- who's shoving who?

Seriously though, I do have a question. Where did Ben get that crucifix from? The evil clown made everything he was wearing vanish, I would have assumed that jewelry would have been included in that. Well, while the clown's taken over, it *is* Ben's dream. I'd guess he'd have enough power over it t...

But if you ever, EVER try to silence or disenfranchise me, I swear by God Almighty I will take you by the shorthairs and drag you through every court in this land till you think your middle name is "tort reform." I don't meant to make an enemy out of someone I (normally**) agree with, RH, but techn...
