Re: muzac
Too cool, where did you order that? It's from the CD-recording of the 2001 Edinburgh Military Tattoo - music-stores with a lot of classical music should easily be able to get it, and many will probably sotck it in their "popular classical music" shelves (or whatever they call them). I ordered mine ...

Well, you did ask... though I fear my musical taste is ...

I personally had a fondness for the Brio trains, as well as diecast cars (and Matchbox is (was?) SO much better than Corgi or Majorette when it came to diecast toy-cars). Matchbox had a set of die-cast warships too, I recall - it was called SeaKings. Unfortunately Seakings never became very popular ...

It would be the player - some modern players can take both PAL and NTSC, but these are common only in Europe, I think. Something to do with the European demand for VCRs capable of playing US videotapes is significantly greater than the US demand for VCRs capable of playing European videotapes. SECAM...

Bears are big and scary - and Theodore Roosevelt was big and scary too, I believe, and liked big ships with real big guns, big sticks...

Re: Thank you, Pengolodh!
I'm something of a wannabe author, in the fantasy/sci-fi genre. That information on nobility titles could come in handy. Thanks. Want a citation, if I ever manage to get anything published? Glad to be of help. No crediting is necessary as far as I'm concerned - this is just knowledge I amassed thro...
Thank you for clarifying that. Both in the Netherlands and in Britain the reigning monarch is the Queen, and their husbands were/are Prince Consorts, n'est ce pas? Yes - as well as Prince Henrik of Denmark (although last year he managed to get himself upgraded from prince consort to drama-queen). N...

All that need take place is to physically remove the weapons from their weakened hands. And then... Oh no, they won...

[snip] Gloria! [snip] *stops* Why are you wearing a red marching outfit? Presumably for the same reason you're banging cymbals (see Crash' post above). Am presently considering whether or not I should send in a crack special forces team playing the mandoline-quartet-version of Tschaikovsky's Nutcra...

Oh, and I think that Snitter's Dancin' around in her PJs with some mashmallows all happy, and Erin's pacing around in a nervous wreck...lets hope they took all the guns with them..or Erin might just try to storm the XI grounds alone... If they had any sense, they'd contact a certain monarch and inf...

*Dig dig shuffle shuffle* Hey, I found it! I found it!! The Lost Thread of the Basilisk! I did wonder where it had gone. ... hey, isn't this the point where a giant boulder should start chasing me, or zombified natives come after me, or I'm surrounded by a horde of Nazis? Nah, they're on strike - y...
