On that topic, Ilona is thinking of writing a book: Men are from Vulcan, Women are from Romulus. ... I might start reading books again. :o That came after realizing that Men don't understand feelings all that well. And of course after ST:TNG Episodes "Unification I and II". It made me realize that ...

Only if you're Greek. Or is it Roman?

Anyway, be glad they're not singing Jimi Hendrix stuff... ;)

"Got any words for Jimi Hendrix?"

"Yes. Come get your Dog!"

Things that have to be said.

Hi, sorry for the long inbetweens but internet is spotty, and my computer, though upgraded is right now not connected. I need to say some things publically, because Eric says I should be able to trust you people. Forgive me if my words are hard to understand, or if it doesn't sound like I trust peop...

Re: (OT/Sensitive) A crisis of conscious

Ack! I'd wind up quoting your entire piece there! Anyway, It may sound silly, but if you contain all the Islams because they're being violent, then no religion, be it Judaism, or Christianity would have got off the ground. Every religion goes through periods of violence. In the Old Testament, the Je...

Back...

Hello all... Well, I came back, and I am back in Manitoba... and I'm sick again. But other than that, everything is okay, although the bouncing in between country and city is starting to drive me insane. In fact I think I'm starting to drive others insane as well. Teddy Bear itis is not going away a...

Something I thought you people would be interested in. I've already tried to talk Eric into going there for our honeymoon. :)

I am sorry...

Hi all, First off I don't know where to begin. I am a little bit afraid that I have offended you people, and I never intended to. I am ashamed if I have since I didn't know what I said to offend, and I appologize. I came here in search of friends, and because Eric thought it would be a forum we coul...

Nah, then the same would go for Santa Clause, the tooth fairy and Buster, the friendly dust bunny living under my desk, too. ^.^
You mean they're not real? 8-0 No!!!! :)

Strange though it seems, yes. Though as a preference I prefer nontheism over atheism.

Because as I found through study, even atheists believe in a god. Otherwise really there would be nothing to deny.

I don't believe in religion. Religion's just rules and rituals. I did, however, check out the bible and read through it and looked at history and came to a conclusion through my own means. I'd say that's the best way to go before speaking on a subject (or making a decision on something, too), by tr...

The Happy news!

Okay, I guess it's something to be praising God for, at least the first part. I have finally found something I can do for a living! It's not paid though, but one day it might. Eric as you well know has been working on a paper for SJGames, and he found me a niche as well. I am working on (though righ...

I have too many favorite songs to even begin, but I did narrow it down when I went into movies... "Rainbow Connection" -- The Muppet Movie "Happiness Hotel" -- The Great Muppet Caper "When You're a professional Pirate" -- Muppet's Treasure Island (Sung by Tim Curry) Or at least when I narrowed it do...

Re: Artistic problem..

I know there are several artists on the board and I wondered if anyone else has this problem I have. It seems that I can only produce nice sketches on really crappy lined notebook paper (which, of course, makes them fairly useless) and am very unsuccessful with transferring them to nice paper. It j...

*hugs* I'm sorry. Please be okay. I'll pray for you. God will open doors, you'll see. I am better today, except health and dream wise (I get bad nightmares from time to time, and last night I woke up crying... twice). I accepted what God told me, that the job wasn't to be, but I am still convinced ...

And the verdict is in...

This afternoon I recieved an email, and it wasn't a good message, but at least it gives me closure. If only everything would close, so I can move on with my life, whatever's left of it. I didn't get the job. I failed the Perfex test, so I am not allowed to move on. I've been crying most of the day. ...

I've been really proud of myself. Keeping away from shops that sell that kind of stuff helps. I was going to be crazy and ask you which of the four variations of the unicorn you have (I have 3 of the 4 variants and the Pegasus that just came out), but I thought that would be too mean. :) lol.. Bean...

Job update.

I've been back for 2 weeks now, and still no phone calls from the Winnipeg police service. In fact no phone calls at all. I've been hunting for work since December and I feel like I just wasted money on something that was never going to be... And just to let you know, I just updated my entire beanie...

Unfortunately I don't know yet if I have to go back to Manitoba for a fourth interview. I wish I knew, cause all this waiting is taking a toll on me. :)

I hope you're enjoying yourself!

I'm Back!

I'm back! *happybounce* and not a moment too soon!!! To be totally honest, the test was more than I could stand. The first test was just a plain ol' typin' test (needed 40 wpm+). Then came the test that was just plain scary! First they had me do a test of Winnipeg streets, bridges and intersections....

Just a prayer request...

Ummm, I'm not so sure how to phrase this, but here goes nothin'! I am going on a trip tomorrow (I leave Calgary at 11:50 am) to go home so I can attend an interview with the Winnipeg Police Department. The interview is for a job that pays 15$ an hour (that's the same as what Eric makes now) and it's...
