Well done phactorri. I am sorry that the hand-off of the Sci-fi dropdown to you was fumbly and without warning, but you have picked up all of my slack and then some. Mea culpa.

Now I just need to figure out how to make comicgenesis delete my years-old comic. It doesn't seem to want to work...

Okay. All new members should have been added... You can all change your code to: <SCRIPT LANGUAGE="javascript" SRC="http://slightlyschizophrenic.keenspace.com/scripts/scifispace.js"></script> BUT!!! At this exact moment, this ALSO appears not to be working! AAAAUGH!!!   Phactorri, wh...

So the purple-coloured drawing you did a couple updates ago (where Sandra's just writing in her diary)...was that coloured AFTER you scanned it in and adjusted levels, etc.? Or do you just have a dope purple pencil to doodle with? I have a purple pencil. I'm not even sure what kind. I found it thre...

All righty! The dropdown is ready to go... :D You'll find the code here: http://slightlyschizophrenic.keenspace.com/scifispace.html (I don't want to post it here because it's kind of huge.) PLEASE check your comic's entry--both in the dropdown and on the SCI-FIspace homepage--to make sure that it wo...

Nope. Well, that might also be a problem, but the dropdown itself doesn't even show up.

Unless that's a direct linking problem too?

But that wouldn't explain why it doesn't even show up on MY site........

NNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Not dead! I'm sorry... I didn't get any emails telling me this topic had replies, and I've been too busy with the new school year to think to check it on my own. Here's the deal, though-- The javascript still isn't working. Keenspace help isn't helping. Well... maybe my topic ...

Wow, thank you all so much. I hadn't expected NEARLY this many responses! Knowing that I'm not the only one to have felt this way makes me feel a LOT better, and I'll definitely try out some of the advice. Yay! I love Keenspace! *elated, hugs everyone* :o Ah... er... nevermind that last bit... :oops...

Ahem, I think I'll just sidestep the direction this conversation is taking and comment on something mentioned quite a while back... Flawed characters. Now I know that this probably seems almost insultingly obvious to anyone who has gotten past the Mary-Sue stage of character construction. I would, h...

Have you felt the slump?

As I near my 60th page, I find myself sliding into a deep slump... Even though I've been working on my comic for about three years now, it's suddenly lost its shine for me. I don't get excited about upcoming characters or plot twists, often I don't enjoy working on it, and as I read through the arch...

Well, my process of course differs slightly from page to page, depending on which medium I am using. But for my inked pages... I ink straight onto my original pencils. I should mention that many people think this is a bad idea, but I find scanning my pencils, making them blue, blah blah blah to be w...

Hey Zoing! Don't go telling all the secrets of the mailing list! If people want to find out, they'll just have to join. Hope you don't mind that I edited your post... :D You make the Colors with Photoshop or with Painter ? When I do computer coloring, I use the GIMP... It can do pretty much e...

commissioned artwork

Since my summer job is ending July 31st and I don't have to go back to school until the end of August, I'm going to have at least a solid three weeks to do comicky-type-stuff... Which means that Slightly Schizo will update at least regularly (gasp!), and that I will have some extra time, during whic...

Um... Because Sandra totally invaded Mira's LIFE...

Mira has been living only with Ro-bi for years, so the whole ship is her space... and then Sandra comes into it, and can't be removed...

Don't you think that would acquire some adjusting?

Plus, Mira has a bad temper.

Whoops! I accidentally posted the uncorrected code. The corrected version *is* the one on my site, I promise. (I double-checked.)

I also get the 404 error, and I don't know why.

OH, ha ha, I see the check box now. Wow, I'm mentally challenged.

Anyhow... yeah. Still not working.

Hi, Hel. I, too, hope that there will be a new page this weekend. An elevator in the spaceship? Not a bad idea. I'll have to think on that... Hehehe, can't you just see Sandra hijacking the ship? Oh dear, that would be bad news. As for romantic plans for Sandra, I'll tell you right now that i...

Yes, it has been changed. SCI-FIspace dropdown members should change the code on their pages....

HOWEVER, I'm still working on getting the dropdown to work at all, so take your time with changing the code.

I have fixed both things, and it still doesn't work. I am really sad because it sounded like such good advice that it would be sure to fix the problem.... I'm going to try posting my .js code; hopefully it will show up. function goto_URL(object) { window.location.href = object.options[object.s...
